Children & Teens Programs

Wiggle Worm Wednesdays: Every Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. or Noon for themed storytime, songs, crafts, and more!

Homeschool Activity Days: Every Monday morning at 10 a.m. for all ages!

  • March 24 – Sew Much Fun
  • March 31 – The Extraordinaries

#MadeItMyself: Pot O’ Gold – Can you make a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow using only the supplies in the bag? Available for pickup all month long!

Kids Zen Bags: Funny March Holidays – Filled with themed coloring pages, crosswords, word searches, and a sweet treat. Available for pickup all month long!

Adult Programs

Seams Legit: Every Thursday at 10 a.m. March classes will focus on learning Calligraphy. This special group is open to all and you are welcome to bring any current craft you have with you or learn something new at the library. All supplies available at the library free of charge.

Adult Zen Bags: Mandala Art These special zen bags are for adults that want to relax. They are filled with themed coloring pages, crosswords, word searches, a gel pen for your collection, and a sweet treat. Available for pickup all month long.

Online Book Clubs

Better Read than Dead Club Our March book is One of us Knows by Alyssa Cole. This book is also available instantly through the Hoopla app.

Book Hoarders Book Club Our March book is On the Swamp by Ryan E. Emanuel. Jonesville Public Library was one of the libraries that were chosen by the North Carolina Humanities to receive book boxes and special swag for the statewide book club. Books will be available for pickup during the month for participants.

Special Events

History with Jenn: Ideas of MarchSaturday, March 15 at 11 a.m. & Tuesday, March 25 at 6:30 p.m. All ages are invited to attend our History with Jenn on either date, where we will learn about Julius Caesar, what happened to him, and how he shaped history as we know it. 

Adult Book Fair! – March 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. & March 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Remember the days where you would visit the school library for the book fair? Relive those days, but now it is just for adults! Books, bookmarks, decals, jewelry, and so much more!
