What’s Happening at the Dobson Community Public Library
Independence Day is a U.S. Federal holiday commemorating the Declaration of Independence that was ratified by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, establishing the United States of America. Dobson First Baptist Book Club – On hiatus until August.
“Check Your Shelves” Book Club – Tuesday, July 21 at 6:30 p.m. – A year of travel through literature with Check Your Shelves Book Club. Stop by the library and check out a copy, everyone is welcome to attend!
July’s selection is, “Embers” by Sandor Marai. We’ll be traveling to Hungary.
Read books for a chance to win a $100 Amazon card. Every book or audio book will earn you a ticket into the drawing for the prize!
