YVEDDI is a nonprofit Community Action Agency organized in 1965 to serve the people of Davie, Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin Counties, with a 501(c)3 status. Community needs, program standards, laws, regulations and funding availability drive service delivery and participants must meet Federal Poverty Index Guidelines, certain age criteria, or other guidelines to qualify for services.

Alleghany County
AppHealthCare is a fully accredited district health department serving Alleghany, Ashe, Watauga counties and a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving Alleghany and Ashe counties.
AppHealthCare accepts private insurances, Medicaid, and Medicare, as well as patients without health insurance. They offer a sliding fee discount program for patients. AppHealthCare is governed by a Board of Health and an FQHC Board, Partners in Public Health.

Alcoholics Anonymous
