Library Policy

The public library environment should be conducive for all patrons to pursue their educational needs and their personal enjoyment. All patrons are expected to conduct themselves in such a way that the rights and privileges of others are not violated. This behavior is to be followed both in the library buildings and on the premises of the thirteen branch libraries of the Northwestern Regional Library.


The public library is a public building. In the interest of child safety the Northwestern Regional Library has established an Appropriate Behavior Policy and hereby sets forth the attached policy for its member branch libraries.

Meeting Room Policy

The Shelton Room is used primarily for library programming and meetings of library support groups and staff. The room is also available for the use of nonprofit educational, cultural, civic, business and governmental groups to conduct occasional meetings.

 

Library activities take precedence in scheduling the room.


Please keep in mind that the application for use of the room is not confirmed until it has been accepted and signed by the Librarian.


Please call to check on the availability of the room you are interested in using.
