Just 3 years ago, over 300 public libraries in the U.S. and Canada had already offered outdoor StoryWalk® programs. Even more have joined in since then, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic has made being indoors in large groups one of the most dangerous things to do, compounded by not wearing a mask and not socially distancing. Given these risks, all of our library programming is being offered virtually, while we seek out new safe ways to support literacy and learning in our community.
As a result of these efforts, Yadkin County Public Library is excited to partner with Yadkin County Parks & Recreation to bring you StoryWalks that combine literacy, exercise, nature, and family bonding using public spaces around Yadkinville, NC.
