Job Search Reminder

When searching for jobs, go directly to a reputable job search website or the official employer's website career link. You do not want to fall victim to a fraudulent website that will collect your information, or a job scam. Searching Google's search engine for "jobs", "employers hiring," or "Yadkinville jobs" is dangerous. Go to a reputable source. We have provided a good starting list of job search websites, local staffing agencies, and local employers (including Census 2020) within this section of our LibGuide.

Searching Tip

An official employer career portal is often a smaller link, kept near the bottom of the home page (says "Employment" or "Careers" etc.). Here is an example from Walmart:
