What's Happening - Regional Headquarters

Here are upcoming events that are taking place throughout our region.

Alleghany County Public Library

The Alleghany County Public Library is pleased to announce that we are starting a makerspace.  Like minded, creative people are coming together to combine technology, artistry and creativity.  For more information call the Alleghany County Public Library.

The Alleghany County Library is excited about the future of the library.  Through a grant from the Golden Leaf Foundation and support of the Alleghany County Commissioners, plans are moving ahead to relocate the library to 115 Atwood Street.  Fundraising is necessary to acquire furnishings and technology.  A fundraising committee is working to raise funds to match a challenge grant from the Chatham Foundation and one from a local community supporter.  To support this effort, contact the Alleghany County Library at 336-372-5573 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
